Gianni Pertici
Gianni Pertici was born in Pontedera (Pisa, Italy) in 1976, got his Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Pisa and from 2005 to 2009 performed his PhD in Biomaterials at the Dept. of Chemistry of University of Pisa and at the King’s College of London.
His studies were focused on processing engineering and material properties especially for the biomedical field, but in recent years he acquired good knowledge also in the biological field, particularly in cell culture methods, in fact he spent two years as senior scientist at the Swiss Stem Cell Bank. He is author in more than 15 publications and single inventor of 1 patent. Currently he is CEO & founder of IBI SA and Reader at the SUPSI Swiss University.

Giuseppe Perale
Giuseppe Perale was born in Venice (Italy) in 1978, he attained both his Master’s Degree and his PhD in Biomedical Engineering, in 2002 and 2006 respectively, at the Politecnico di Milano. Visiting Post Doc at the Imperial College London in 2007, visiting Researcher at the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm in 2011 and at the IRF “Mario Negri” in 2012, he was Acting Professor of “Formulations Science” at the Politecnico di Milano until Spring 2013. Currently he is Full Professor of Industrial Bioengineering at the SUPSI Swiss University.
His studies are mainly focused on process engineering and physical chemistry applied to biomaterials for medical applications, particularly for tissue engineering and drug delivery systems. He’s author in over 100 international publications and 3 patent families.

Tino Bonaccorsi
Tino Bonaccorsi was born in Catania (Italy) in 1960. His family moved to Switzerland in 1962. He studied Dentistry at the Dental Faculty of the University of Berne, Switzerland. His teachers were, among others, Prof. Niklaus P. Lang, Prof. Daniel Buser, Prof. Christoph Hämmerle. He got a Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communication & Modern Language from Feusi Business School, Berne. He worked 7 years for Geistlich Biomaterials Switzerland and established a Continuous Education Program for Dental Biomaterials. He organised more than 500 courses and congresses. He has 20 years experience with dental biomaterials. He is actually responsible for the Global Dental Market at Advanced Medical Solutions plc Group, Winsford, UK.
